Afora Pro subscriptions are managed entirely through the Apple App Store.

Account & Data

Your privacy is important to us. Here's how to manage your data and account:

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the app. This action is irreversible.

To delete:

  1. Open afora on your iPhone
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Select Data Management (or Your Data)
  4. Tap Delete Account

Common Issues & Troubleshooting

Can't see my Pro subscription?

This usually happens if the app hasn't refreshed its connection to the App Store. To fix this:

  1. Open Settings in afora.
  2. Tap on Afora Pro (or the subscription banner).
  3. Tap Restore Purchases at the bottom.
  4. Ensure you are signed into the correct Apple ID in your iPhone's Media & Purchases settings.
iCloud Sync is not working?

If your entries aren't syncing across devices, please check these steps:

  1. Go to iPhone Settings[Your Name]iCloud.
  2. Tap Apps Using iCloud -> Show All.
  3. Make sure afora is toggled ON.
  4. Ensure you have enough iCloud Storage available. If your storage is full, sync will stop.
  5. In the afora app, go to SettingsSync and ensure "Cloud Sync" is enabled.
Not receiving daily reminders?

If you're missing your journaling reminders, verify your notification settings:

  1. Go to iPhone SettingsNotificationsafora.
  2. Ensure Allow Notifications is ON.
  3. Check that Banners, Sounds, and Badges are enabled.
  4. In afora, go to SettingsReminders and confirm your scheduled time.
How do I export my data?

We believe your data belongs to you. You can export everything at any time:

  1. Open afora and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Data Management (or Your Data).
  3. Select Export Data.
  4. Choose your preferred format (JSON or PDF) and save it to your Files app or share it.
AI Backtrack isn't showing new questions?

AI Backtrack requires a minimum amount of data to generate meaningful questions:

  • Ensure you have at least 3-5 recent entries with text content.
  • Check SettingsPrivacy to ensure AI features are enabled.
  • Questions are generated periodically; try writing a new entry to trigger a refresh.
